Reminders

Personal follow-ups and to-dos, with in-app, push and email nudges.

Reminders are personal follow-ups and to-dos with real nudges attached — in-app, push and email. They are the lightweight counterpart to Tasks: a task is work the team tracks, a reminder is something you must not forget.

1. Getting to the page

Reminders sits in the top section of the navigation, at /client/reminders.

The header reads Reminders"Personal follow-ups and to-dos, with in-app, push, and email nudges" — with a New Reminder button.

2. Smart lists

Six built-in lists, always present:

ListShows
AllEverything not completed.
TodayDue today, plus anything overdue.
ScheduledEverything with a future due date.
FlaggedReminders you have flagged.
SharedReminders shared with you or by you.
CompletedEverything ticked off.

3. Custom lists

Create your own lists to group reminders — one per client, one per project, one per week. Lists can be renamed and deleted; deleting a list does not delete its reminders.

4. Creating a reminder

Click New reminder and give it:

  • A title — what to do.
  • Notes — optional detail.
  • A due date and time — optional. A reminder with no date lands in No Date.
  • A priority — none, low, medium or high.
  • A list.
  • A repeat rule — optional.
  • Visibility — see below.

5. Priority, flags and repeats

Priority is none / low / medium / high, and can be sorted on.

Flag marks a reminder as needing attention regardless of its date. Flagged reminders get their own smart list.

Repeat — none, daily, weekly, monthly or yearly. A repeating reminder regenerates when completed, so the next one is created only once the current one is done.

6. Visibility

Three levels, and the difference matters:

VisibilityWho sees it
PersonalOnly you.
SharedOnly the specific people you pick.
EveryoneEveryone in the portal.

The picker states the rule in plain words beneath it, so nobody shares a private note by accident.

7. Grouping, sorting and views

Two views:

  • List — a flat list.
  • Grouped — grouped into Overdue · Today · Tomorrow · This Week · Later · No Date.

Sort by due date (earliest or latest), priority, newest, oldest or alphabetically. Filter by status (all / active / completed / flagged / overdue) and by priority.

8. Notifications

A reminder falling due raises a notification through whichever channels you have enabled: in-app, browser or mobile push, and email. Configure the channels in Settings → Notifications.

Push requires the browser or device to have been set up once — the portal prompts you.
