Numbers
KPI targets and attainment across your org tree.
Numbers is targets and attainment across your organisation. Build your org tree — company, departments, teams — put people in it, set what each level is expected to hit, and see how it is tracking against the period.
Numbers is Growth and above.

1. Getting to the page
Click Numbers in the Performance section, at /client/numbers. The selected node lives in the URL, so a department view is a shareable link. No node parameter means the company root.
2. The org tree
The left panel is your structure:
- Company — the root. Exactly one, created for you.
- Departments — children of the root.
- Teams — anything below a department.
Add, rename and delete nodes from the tree.
Deleting a node is wide and permanent. It deletes every team beneath it, everyone's membership of them, and every target and manual figure set on any of them. The confirmation says so explicitly, and it cannot be undone.
3. People
People on a node manages who belongs to it. Membership is what makes per-seat metrics roll up: a rep's calls count toward their team, which counts toward their department, which counts toward the company.
4. The period
Numbers works a period at a time — monthly by default — with arrows to step back and forward. You cannot step into the future.
Each metric shows how much of the period has elapsed, so a figure at 40% of target on day 12 of the month reads as on pace rather than behind.
5. Setting targets
Targets on a node opens the target dialog. Set a number per metric for that node and period.
A blank cell inherits the team default. Clearing a cell removes that person's override. The hint states it: "A blank cell inherits the team default. Clearing a cell removes that rep's override."
Targets must be zero or more.
6. The built-in metrics
Finance (company-level)
| Metric | Unit |
|---|---|
| Revenue collected | Currency |
| Expenses | Currency (lower is better) |
| Invoices issued | Count |
| Invoiced value | Currency |
| Cash collected | Currency |
| Net cash | Currency |
| Overdue value | Currency (lower is better) |
Deals (per seat)
| Metric | Unit |
|---|---|
| Deals won | Count |
| Deal value won | Currency |
| Pipeline created | Currency |
| Win rate | Percent |
Activity (per seat)
| Metric | Unit |
|---|---|
| New leads | Count |
| Meetings booked | Count |
| Emails sent | Count |
| Calls made | Count |
| Talk time (min) | Minutes |
| Connect rate | Percent |
Voice (company-level)
| Metric | Unit |
|---|---|
| AI calls | Count |
| AI talk time (min) | Minutes |
A few deliberate choices worth knowing:
- Cash collected is dated by the payment, not the invoice. An invoice issued in July and paid in September is September's cash. Anything else is not a cashflow metric.
- Pipeline created is what was created in the period, not the current open pipeline. It is named for what it measures.
- Overdue value and Expenses are lower-is-better, and attainment is read accordingly.
7. Attribution: seat vs company
Every metric declares how it can be attributed.
Seat — the underlying row names a person, so the metric can be targeted at company, department and individual level.
Company — the row names no person, so it can only be targeted at company and department level.
Finance metrics are company-level for a real reason: the finance tables record who typed the row in, not who earned it. Attributing revenue to that person would be a fabricated number, so the option is not offered.
AI call metrics are company-level because a call handled by an agent has no seat behind it.
8. How attainment is calculated
Actuals are read from the live records — deals, leads, calls, invoices, payments — for the selected node, its descendants, and the period. Each metric shows the actual, the target, the percentage, and how much of the period has elapsed.
Sample counts are shown alongside, so a percentage computed from three rows is visibly different from one computed from three hundred.
A metric with no data source available for your plan is shown as unavailable rather than as zero.
9. Ratios
Win rate and connect rate are computed from their component counts after aggregation. They are never summed up the tree, and never averaged across seats.
Averaging a rate over seats makes a floor with one 100% seat and nine 0% seats report 10%, when the true rate is 3%.
10. Currency
Currency metrics use your account's own base currency, set in Finance → Tax & Currency. A GBP account showing € on its revenue is a wrong number, not a cosmetic slip.
Where amounts had no exchange rate available, they are excluded from the converted total and the page says so: "3 amounts had no exchange rate and are missing from the currency totals below, so those figures are understated." It never silently counts them at 1:1.
11. Manual metrics
Beyond the built-ins you can define your own metrics whose actuals are typed in rather than derived — anything the platform does not measure but you still want on the same scoreboard.
12. Who can change what
| Action | Who |
|---|---|
| View the tree and attainment | Anyone with access to the page |
| Add, rename or delete nodes | Client admins only |
| Manage membership | Client admins only |
| Set targets | Client admins only |
The buttons are hidden for anyone who is not a client admin, and the database refuses the write regardless — the restriction is not the hidden button.
13. Troubleshooting
| Symptom | Cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| The page isn't in the nav | Growth and above | See Plans & Subscriptions |
| A metric shows unavailable | Its source needs a higher plan — finance metrics are Command-only | Use the metrics your plan sources |
| A rep's number is zero | They are not a member of the node, or the record has no owner | Add them under People; check ownership on the records |
| Revenue shows the wrong currency | Base currency not set | Finance → Tax & Currency |
| Totals flagged as understated | Missing exchange rates | Add them |
| A target won't save | It is not a number of zero or more | Correct the value |
| No reps to set targets for | No teams or members yet | Build the tree and add people |
| A deleted department took its targets with it | The cascade is real and was stated in the confirmation | It cannot be undone |
